Whole peeled tomatoes
Elvea peeled tomatoes are made using an oblong shaped tomatoes variety. Only the fruits that have reached
the right point of maturity are harvested. Tomatoes are then washed and scalded in hot
water and then rapidly cooled in order to have a better peeling.
Elvea peeled tomatoes show a good colour of red, smell and taste are sweet neither acid,
bitter or overcooked. Tomatoes are consistent, homogeneous in the dimension and preserve
the shape of the fresh fruit, and juice is dense and tasty. Presence of skins are very
rare and drained weight never less than 60% of the total weight, as guaranteed by law.
